Einar left today. Last night he, Curtis, Andrew and I went into 'classy' mode and went to the Liquid Lounge where the music was in that trippy Moby-style style. We ordered two expensive bottles of wine and I got to pretend that I was intrigued and judgemental as I read the wine list totally having no idea how to tell one from the other. "Liz how do you feel about a Beaujolais?" and I'm like "Hmmm, a satisfactory choice."
Then we moved on to Seduce then at threeish to Einar's roof. I must say, Einar's roof is a much better roof than Adam's roof. The floor is tiled and there are chairs and bbqs etc. Adam's roof is in a boring concrete style with a bunch of cement structural pylon-thingies that never saw the 7th floor that they were built to support. Sean was awake and hung out for a while. Hey Ingunn I stole a Heineken promotional item! I have joined the ranks of the most daring Heineken Promotional Item Thieves. It was suction-capped to the beer fridge door at the OK Mart. The guy saw me do it too, and saw it in my handbag when I paid for my M&Ms, but he didn't give a sh/t, perhaps because it was three a.m. and he was in a general non-confrontational kind of mood, which is my guess.
So now, there are no more Icelanders in Taiwan. The Icelandic expat community of two has all but disappeared! Missing them both.
