I'm back online!!!
So what's new? Well, I've moved to Newtown, I've started my new job (old news) and I've started uni again (finally).
Work is going OK, I asked my supervisors for feedback and they said "You are doing great guns" which I think is good!!
This morning I arrived at 8 to attend destination training. Although I'm not a tour person myself and would rather go backpacking just for the joy of staying in a hostel full of like-minded Lonely Planet-carrying handsome men, I fell in love with Northern India/Rajahstan (scuze the spelling) and pretty much any desert fortress they could offer. We offer hotel deals that are relatively expensive, aimed at clients who want maximum comfort and style.
After four weeks at my new job as PA to the manager, he finally asked me to do something for him today. It was to get IT to fix his phone. So I emailed two people from IT with a High Importance symbol attached and tried calling them but to no avail and then my other supervisor said she'd have a look at it when she got a chance. She's very nice, really.
Kuby the Teddy Bearski is coming over tonight to sleep in my bright red flannos from Holy Sheet that I got on Sunday. I love my room at the moment, I can actually take 3 steps without bumping into a pile of clothes (they're much further away now).
I've got homework to do but I'm too busy blogging. It's accounting homework, and I absolutely MUST do it, because the teacher randomly checks it twice throughout the semester and you have to therefore prepare it every single week. Maybe the Teddy Bearski can help me when he gets here.
I'm so relieve I'm back online because our homework is on WebCT. OK I'll check it now -
over and out.
HI KATE!!! I'M BACK!
Love,
Lizo

Me and the Kubster aren't talking to each other, everyone I know thinks he's a user etc while he thinks I treat him like a 'toy'. We argued on Skype last night and then via sms until midnight and well that's the end of it I think.

In other news my new job seems to be going well. Had a little meeting with my supervisors to sort out how we are going to organise what I'm going to do. So we decided to keep a To-Do list on the T-drive of stuff I'm going to do each day etc because the two girls are not sure which one of them should be giving me work and when and we are going to try to write it all out so that it's clear. I'm feeling a lot more confident anyway and today I worked through an advertising measure and even though I made lots of mistakes I was still happy to do something that doesn't seem to be that admin-ish. It's a six-month maternity leave contract so I may not stay longer than that and therefore not take advantage of an educational trip but these days I am dreaming of working for Club Med even if in just a similar capacity. But we'll see. Working in the city ain't that exciting seeing as though I can't spend away my lunch times and I get home at like 6.30 (instead of at 4.30 when my PT boss let me go home early!)...

Haven't been blogging lately, it just hasn't been on my mind. Must check the stats and see how many of my random one-off readers have 'dropped off'.

We are moving next week I think. I am quite sad as V is going to Darwin for a week :-(

My new job is ok, the work is semi-interesting, some scraps of design involved but which of course has to be approved first :-) The eostrogen in the air is so thick you can taste it and every time I wonder why I would stay, I think about the brilliant career I've been trying for. (kind of).
This morning I'm going in at 8.30 to attend a company meeting... I have to answer three questions - where I've worked, where I've travelled, and my favourite colour. Should be easy.
Practically live at kuba's at the moment.
By the way we got a place in Newtown. Moving in the 17th. Although I'll be working so I might have to make it the following Sat.
Ok off to give my speech now.
