This morning (afternoon) after I woke up I gave Pam a history lesson about the two world wars, she thought the holocaust was in world war one etc so I gave her a brief rundown. Then we got onto the subject of The Diary of Anne Frank, then we had an argument over the meaning of the word poignant. She won. I don't think Anne Frank is poignant. Cloudstreet is poignant, but not Anne Frank. Oh well. Anyway we looked it up in the dictionary and stuff. I thought poignant is when something sad or tragic happens but it's treated differently by the author eg in a lighthearted or more subtle manner, followed by something happy happening or something. Hmmm. Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away oops no I mean yesterday, she gave me a birthday present which was a brown scarf from Sportsgirl and a really nice card in which she wrote that my beauty and loveliness needs to be broadcast to the world. Then I considered taking it literally and trying out for big brother. Nah. I would never be able to compete with the loudmouthed bimbos and wankers that go on that show. Anyway the card was so nice that I had to go back to my room and read it again just to soak it in a little more.

Bee bup bup bado bup

and in the words of my sister Melanie, "Ok, BYE."
