In 1984, when Benedict headed the Vatican's doctrinal enforcement body as
Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, he said he was "personally" in favour of
scrapping the 13th-century notion, which he termed a mere "hypothesis."
OK that's cool. So limbo is just a notion. Next they'll be scrapping heaven too. But wait hang on, heaven doesn't count.
Could someone please 'hypothesise' why they publish this shit at all?
