Hi yo how y'all doing it's DJ Liz here in 'da' hood. Summer Hill dat is. Yo.

Tonight I opted out of outings to stay home, do some grocery shopping (on a Friday night - yay) and hang out in my bachelorette pad doing nothing except checking facebook and drinking my McGuigan 2 for $16. Kuba would love it right now. Me, a bed, the net, and two bottles of red (mostly for him). He would have liked the pizza I had for dinner too with Rose, Marcin, and her parents. Rose got her university medal today. Congratulations to Rosa! You rock.

Heading off soon to Taipei and Seoul... shivers, must buy a new suit.

Freaky guy followed me around Franklins. Either I'm going mad (no surprises there) or there exists freaky guys in my new hood. Summer Hill, dat is. Yo.

Ok so it's about time I started writing my best-selling novel. Ok so here goes...

'Twas a dark and stormy night. A young chain smoking lone-drinking 23 year old writes about herself in the third person at her computer with a small tv next to her showing the images of a documentary on some world war or another. She looked out the window and discovered the weather was in fact clear and dry but nevertheless continued with her dramatic writing techniques in order to engage her audience.

Her first 'love' had sent her a message on the phenomenon known as Facebook. Not only was it a message to say hi, but also included the words 'I miss you'. She wrote back and eagerly awaited a reply despite promising herself that when they inevitably got in touch again, she would tell him he was an arsehole. She recently got in touch with the third member of the year-11 triumvirate, Jordan, and was experiencing a mixture of feelings. What if she was living in the 80s or 90s when Facebook had never existed? Passionate but short-lived friendships would have been written off and forgotten. Old loves would have been released and dispersed like ashes into the wind, never to be seen again. Now that Facebook is here, we will never escape the people we have known, for better or for worse. Knowing John gave her life, then ruined it. It was such a long time ago, and the feelings have almost disappeared. But she couldn't control the curiosity that grew inside her after hearing from him. Who was he now? Was he still an arsehole? She still thought he must be, but would drop everything to have that 'catch-up'.

Um yeah stayed tuned for chapter 2
